Mintons Delft Demitasse Coffee Cup & Saucer c.1870's

Mintons Delft Blue pattern was produced in 1871 and remained in production for 120+ years making it one of the most successful patterns in history. The pattern derives from an old Chinese pattern of peonies in a basket.

Cup measures 2¼” tall with a top rim diameter of 2

Saucer measures 5½” diameter.

Condition: The cup is perfect. The saucer has a crack in the centre and a very small under rim chip. Generally, at Vintage And Pretty we do not sell damaged ware but this cup and saucer is quite rare and well over 150 years old. The saucer is still very serviceable so this small amount of damage seems acceptable on this occasion.
