Royal Cauldon “Victoria” 15-Piece Tea Set for 6 including Tea Pot c.1930's

This Hallmark 15-Piece tea set from Royal Cauldon in its popular Victoria pattern dates from the about the 1930’s.  Multicoloured floral sprays set against green scrollwork on cream coloured china.  Gently scalloped shapes with gilded trim although there is some wear to the gilding as is very common with this ware which was usually bought  to be used.

This 15-piece set consists of the following:

1 x Tea Pot (1¾ pints / 6 cups.  6” tall overall, 8½” tip of spout to handle)

6 x Tea Cups ( 2½” deep x 3½” top rim diameter. Capacity 5 fl oz)

6 x Saucers (5½” diameter)

1 x Milk Jug (½ pt capacity, 4” tall overall)

1 x Sugar Basin (3” deep x 4¾” top rim diameter)

Excellent vintage condition for this 90 year old set.  No damage, slight wear to gilding which just adds to its charm.  Slight age related glaze crazing to one or two pieces (undersides).
